Few musicians in recent decades can lay claim to the caliber of credits held by Grammy-nominated guitarist, Rick Vito. His unique slide and lead guitar work has enriched the recordings and performances of such legendary R&R Hall of Fame Rock and Blues artists as Bonnie Raitt, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, John Fogerty, Bob Seger, Boz Scaggs, Delbert McClinton, Roy Orbison, Jackson Browne, Todd Rundgren, and scores of others. He has appeared on hundreds of recordings, and his haunting slide guitar solo on Seger’s “Like A Rock,” has been heard by millions as the guitar voice on the Chevrolet truck TV commercial ads over a ten year period.

Perhaps best known as a member of the legendary supergroup Fleetwood Mac (1987-1991), Rick brought back a passionate, bluesy quality to the band’s music. His original songs are featured on their albums, “Behind The Mask”, “The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac” and “The Chain.” He also appears on their “Greatest Hits” CD and the live DVD, “Tango In The Night”.

Rick’s solo works include, “King Of Hearts,” (1992) “Pink & Black,” (1998) “Lucky Devils” (2000) “Crazy Cool,” (2003) “Rick Vito Live In Concert” (DVD 2004) “Band Box Boogie,” (2005) “Rattlesnake Shake,” (2006) “Complete Slide Guitar,” (DVD 2007), “Talk That Talk,” “Lucky In Love,” (2009) and “Mojo On My Side,” (2016).

Warner Brothers’ movie release, “Angel Eyes” featured Rick’s song, “It’s Two A.M.”, as performed by Shemekia Copeland. This earned Rick the famed W.C. Handy Award for “Blues Song of the Year.” “The Last Castle,” starring James Gandolfini, featured Rick in an acting cameo as a military police captain. His songs have also appeared theTV shows, “Without A Trace,” “Las Vegas,” “Thieves,” “HBO’s ‘Real’ Series,” “Everwood,” “Memphis Beat,” and most recently, multiple episodes of “Blue Bloods.”

As producer, Rick also collaborated with rockabilly singer, Rosie Flores, on “Speed of Sound,” and his guitar work has also appeared on newer releases by Bob Seger, Delbert McClinton (the Grammy winning, “Nothing Personal”), Hank Williams Jr., Bonnie Raitt, The Tractors, The Martini Kings, Rita Coolidge, Carl Verheyen, Maria Muldaur, Boz Scaggs and Billy Burnette.

Along with his solo projects, Rick again partnered with legendary drummer Mick Fleetwood to form both the blues-rocking “Mick Fleetwood Blues Band feat. Rick Vito.” In 2009-2010, shortly after the release of their collaboration, “Blue Again,” Rick was nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award in the "Best Traditional Blues" category as both artist and producer.

Rick’s most recent activities have included many heralded live appearances at Blues Festivals around the world where he also demonstrates his skill on the “Rick Vito Signature” guitar from Reverend Guitars. Current festival tours both as "Rick Vito & the Lucky Devils,” and with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band continue stronger than ever. Please visit www.rickvito.com for more info.
