He has been the guitarist of choice with the iconic band Steely Dan for both recording and touring since 1999. With the launch of “(quiet) holiday,” Jon now has seven solo releases in his discography. A previous release, “Time On My Hands,” was nominated for Vintage Guitar Hall Of Fame Album of the Year. His guitar work with Steely Dan can be heard on their recordings “Everything Must Go” and “Two Against Nature” (both the CD and the live DVD) and on the Steely Dan VH1 Storytellers and “Making of Aja” DVD releases. Jon is also featured as lead guitarist on the Dukes of September Rhythm Revue’s “Live at Lincoln Center” DVD. Music is our passion and Rock is our focus. We enjoy playing and entertaining drawing from a wide variety of popular and not so well known covers (Beatles, Billy Joel, Santana, etc…) but with our own twist. Our performances mingle these with originals written by three of our band mates. NORTH TOWN: North Town is an original band founded by former members of Cardinal Suns and Second Nature. They are based in Claymont, Delaware, near the northern border of the state. North Town’s original sound is an eclectic blend of Rock, Alternative, and Country with catchy hooks and insightful lyrics. Band members are: John Hannum—Guitar & Vocals; Chris Bergmann—Drums; Ric Pellicciaro—Guitar; Angelo Reid—Bass & Percussion; and Deborah Lomax—Keys.
