Dennis Melton of The Melton Brothers hosts the first Open Mic in March at The Flash!

Named one of Delaware Today magazine’s 2016 “Legends of Rock n’ Roll,” Dennis Melton is the bass player for The Melton Brothers Band, performing most recently at The Flash, the Tin Angel, Chaplins, World Cafe Live, Steel City Cafe and numerous outdoor concerts. Dennis performed, recorded and toured with many artists in Canada including Lighthouse lead singer Bob McBride and Shirley Eikhard who wrote the hit song for Bonnie Rait “We’ve Got Something to Talk About”. A member of The Watson Brothers Band and August in the late 70s and early 80s, Dennis played on shows with BB King, The Chambers Brothers, Joe Cocker and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks. A founder of the Kennett Flash, Dennis is a frequent participant in the Open Mics, using the event to debut new songs and collaborations with the Melton Family including his wife Donna and son Michael. Dennis in one of the producers of the Concert for Billy on April 24 and 25 at The Flash.
