Congrat — Winner from Week #1

Congrat is an independent rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Made up of guitarist/drummer Halifax Sagherian and guitarist/bassist Inc CL, the band released an eight song EP titled On Dog River last December. Joining them are Joshua Daniel Moyer on drums, Gino Palma on bass, and Helen Reaver on vocals, frequent collaborators and members of experimental jazz orchestra, Moonsmack.


Rachel Folmar — Winner from Week #2 

Rachel Folmar is an incoming Senior at Unionville High School, and she’s been writing and performing music for as long as she can remember. Rachel has performed at local open mic nights and other shows at the Flash, the Kennett Brewery, and the Market at Liberty Place, and she hopes to be releasing more music online in the coming months. Rachel has also performed with choirs in Disney World and with composer Z. Randall Stroope in Rome, Italy. When she’s not singing or songwriting, Rachel is writing for the school paper, building robots with her robotics team, or participating in Student Council. She hopes you enjoy the show!


Jac Conner — Winner from Week #3

Jac is an incoming sophomore at Oxford Area High School, and a local musician from Nottingham, Pennsylvania. He is very excited to participate in the “New Summer Sounds”. Jac is a guitarist and vocalist who loves learning new instruments. Playing anything from pop to hard rock, his musical style is very versatile. He has performed at multiple venues locally, including the Rise n’ Grind Cafe, Wholly Grounds Coffee Shop, the Octoraro Ote and the Warriors on the Water fundraiser with the Moe Blues Band, the open mic at the Kennett Flash, opening for Jean Therapy at the Darlington Arts Center, and the Connective Festival in Oxford. Last year, Jac was Troy Bolton in his school show, “High School Musical”. Earlier this year he was Joseph Pullitzer in “Newsies” at Street Lamp Productions, as well as a Wickersham Brother in “Seussical” at Oxford Area High School. He is currently a part of band, jazz band, chorus, and choral ensemble at school. 


Felicia Berrier — Winner from Week #4


Felicia Berrier is a sixteen year old singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and performer from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. She is going into 11th grade at PA Leadership Charter School (PALCS), where she attends the Center for Performing and Fine Arts (CPFA) and the University Scholars Program (USP). Felicia has been actively writing music since 2016. Four of her songs can be found on digital music retailers such as iTunes and Spotify, and an additional 10 can be found on her CD. Felicia has received a lot of her production, vocal, and songwriting coaching from the MMVS Music Career Mastermind Program, run by industry professional Melissa Mulligan and her team of inspiring vocal coaches, producers, songwriters, and mindset coaches. These coaches have worked with well known artists like AJR, We the Kings, The Jonas Brothers, Andy Grammer, Jackie Evancho, and more. Felicia is also an active member of Girl Scouts, Tri-M Music Honor Society, National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, and PMEA District 12 and Region VI Chorus.
