Originally from Austin Texas, Stackabones is an Americana Jam Band with a focus on strong songwriting, multi-part vocal harmonies, a tight rhythm section, and interesting improvisational explorations. Stackabones plays music from its three-decade legacy of original material, and peppers its set lists with tasty covers from the annals of our Americana heritage.
Relocated to the mid-Atlantic in 2011, Stackabones continues to bring its psychedelic hootenanny to clubs, house concerts, and festival stages up and down the East Coast.
Apache Trails is helped by singer-songwriter Jason Webb and backed by drummer Jeremy Worthington (Catalus/Bodega) alongside a cycling variety of musicians featured on bass, lead guitar, mandolin, banjo, and piano.
This fiery musical arrangement promises nothing less than a rowdy and unbridled good time that will leave the soles of your feet singing a tune of their own. Apache Trail’s sound and influence pulls greatly from the Folk and Americana genres while also incorporating slight elements of Blues and Rock.
Webb cites music from artists like Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Tom Waits as all having a hand in shaping his musical tastes but that it’s truly his fellow musicians who have helped facilitate his growth as a songwriter and a performer.
