The Kennett Flash is proud to present a unique evening of music and food as we welcome back THE DALE MELTON TRIO with SAM NOBLES and JONATHAN W. WHITNEY!Sunday, March 24, 20246:30pm show | 5:30pm doors$25 tickets | $5 BYOBPresented with a limited dinner-and-a-show add-on from PORTABELLO’S.$30 dinner add-on (limited to 30 patrons; add-on before checkout)- dinner guests will enter The Flash at 4:45pm and given priority seating- dinner will be served with a choice of entree and one dessertThe Dale Melton Trio is a tasty sonic and rhythmic stew of New Orleans funk and soulful New York jazz blended with early rock, blues and bossa nova reminiscent of Mose Allison, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Fats Waller, Taj Mahal, Boz Skaggs and Lyle Lovett. Throw in Dale’s one-of-a-kind Hammond organ style and punch the rhythm piano along with his “it’s never the same twice” delivery and everything takes on a unique twist. On drums and upright bass are two of the region’s finest musicians Jonathan W. Whitney and Sam Nobles respectively who are on every nuance of this spontaneous musical journey. Along with several original compositions Dale’s forte is his ability to foster unique interpretations of songs he has invested his heart and soul in as he stretches out on vintage keyboards including Hammond organ, Rhodes piano, Wurli, DX7 and grand piano. Drummer Whitney says Dale sings like he plays, smooth to biting, delicate to griitty, sultry to bold.———————————————-An online processing fee of $3.50 per ticket (for tickets $15.99 and under) or $5.00 per ticket (for tickets $16.00 and up) will appear on your order at check out.
